When I started Griffins International School 5 years back, I had only one motto i.e., to provide the best quality education and child development to the students of Paschim Medinipur. I had the privilege of getting high class education by studying in a hostel in Ooty and I wanted to bring that to this place. I proud to say that in the past 5 years, Griffins has established itself as one of the top schools in the district.

Scholars Den Kharagpur is also a similar initiative to ensure that the deserving students do not miss out their dream due to lack of proper professional coaching to the students. I had to drop 1 year and go to Delhi to get proper coaching. That helped me crack IITJEE in 2002. I do not want any other child to face a similar challenge.

With Scholars Den under Vivek Thakur producing an excellent track record of sending students to IITs and AIIMS in a city like Kharagpur, I feel this branch would be able to fulfil the dreams of the students and parents of Kharagpur and Paschim Medinipur.

We have also started the Integrated School Program (ISP) for students of Grade 11 so that they save a lot of time travelling and going to different tuitions. The students would get a lot of time for self-study which is vital for cracking examinations like NEET and JEE.
